This is the core of the website which comprises of a calculator for calculating the cfm (cube feet per minute), convertion of calculating unit and an overview of the list of standards and guidelines for the air change.
1. Local exhaust ventilation (LEV)
This method of ventilation is based on the principle of
capturing the contaminant at source before it spreads into the room air.
An LEV capture device or extract hood is used. LEV is the most effective
method of contaminant extraction and it is widely used in industrial ventilation
particularly where localized sources of hazardous contaminants are present.
